Your Social Media Posts Aren’t Failing Because of the Writing

“Get more visibility” is not a goal of a social media post. It gives you nothing to write toward. Compare it to this:  Help a homeowner understand that their high summer power bill is coming from attic insulation, not the AC unit they’re about to replace. Now you know who you’re talking to, what they currently believe, and what should be different afterward.

So I built something

I make interactive training for a living, so I did what I’d do for a client. I built a free tool.

The Purposeful Post Builder walks you through five decisions, one screen at a time.

Along the way it does something I haven’t seen other tools do: it writes an AI prompt for you. By the time you get to the drafting step, everything you’ve decided has already been built into a prompt you can copy and paste. No brackets to fill in, no template to wrestle with. There’s one for hooks, one for structure, one for visuals, and one for your post copy and call to action.

At the end you get a one-page plan with everything on it, and you can save it as a PDF and use it as your creation brief.

A few things worth knowing

There’s no signup and no email required. Nothing to install. Your answers save in your own browser, so you can close the tab and come back.

Try it on your next post

Don’t just read about it. Open it and run one real post through it, ideally one you’ve been putting off.
